Fall Festival

Two Saturdays ago we went to Homestead Gardens for a Fall Festival. I was actually saving this post until now because I was hoping we would have gone again this past Saturday and taken more pictures but since we had inclement weather (rain and snow) we didn't make it back.

The Fall Festival was like a small fair. There were several attractions, a few animals and of course good smelling food. A few of Spencer's favorites included the straw maze, slides, and farm animals. He pretty much just ran back and forth between these three activities.

Here he is running through the straw maze. He was eager to explore every twist and turn, no corner went unchecked.

He was a pro on the slides. I was impressed, he was very patient and always waited for his turn. Some of the other kids had a more difficult time standing in line.

 

Spencer's most favorite were the animals. Everyday for a week Spencer asked to go back to Fall Festival to see the animals.

 

Fortunately for me, just letting him look at pictures of the animals was enough to tide him over.
