No goodnight kiss at the end of the day.

No one to chase all my worries away.

I'd be so lost without you by my side.

Like a leaf in the wind...or a shell in the tide.

My reasons to smile would soon disappear,

If you weren't in my life, If you weren't always near.

You are my partner, my lover, my friend.

My story's beginning...my "fairy tale" end.
