What does one do when in Idaho for a few weeks and no schedule to follow? Well, here is what we did...
On one particularly blustery day we took the kids to the park and flew kites:
Weston and Sarah really got into the activity
While Spencer was more interested in playing on the bleachers...
On Sunday we got all four cousins together for a 15 minute photo shoot in the backyard.
It was nice to get all the grandkids in one place at one time...although, this picture will be outdated come September when Aubrey and Derek welcome their new baby girl to the family.Later that week we took a trip out to the farm where Spencer and I took our very first tractor ride with Uncle Derek:
I was surprised, I thought Spencer would find the tractor loud and scary but he was quite comfortable. In fact, the bumps and vibrations almost put him to sleep.
A tractor wasn't the only vehicle Spencer was sporting on our trip, here we are at Rosauers:
And then of course we played outside....
Aunt Aubrey bought a bubble fountain and it was a huge success with the kids!
And Spencer LOVED the sandbox
Here he is painting the sand.
And although it was entirely way too cold, we filled up the pool and went swimming:
See what I mean? Our vacation was action-packed with some serious fun. We enjoyed spending time with family and now it is good to be home again.
